The technology provides the most advanced biological and cost-effective method for producing high quality drinking water for municipal and industrial users. BioEcoTech® is the result of 30 years of development, operational experience and refinement. The first installation was built in Sweden in 1977 and is still in operation. Since then more than 30 installations have been built. 

United Waters International AG offers municipal and industrial users the right to utilize the BioEcoTech® water plant for 20 to 40 years under “Build Own Operate & Transfer” (BOOT and EPC and long-term operation and maintenance agreements) agreements and service package business models. BioEcoTech® purifies all major contaminates in groundwater but focuses in particular on serving areas with high contents of iron, manganese, arsenic and nitrates.

BioEcoTech® lifespan costs, including investments and maintenance, are 5-15 times less than conventional methods.
